Re: DCW Made to Order Delrin Wheels Just to be "that guy". I need you to make me these as shown in shiny silver with copper inserts, no detail to be left out, and for the price of am "off the shelf" flavor 8 hole. http://www.bcarwallpapers.com/conten...once-c476a.jpg Ok, seriously now... Glad to see you doing these Duuuuuuuude! You have a PM about a real and doable set that I NEED *cough*want really bad*cough* "thumbsup" |
Re: DCW Made to Order Delrin Wheels How much for - dia 2.2 " - 1.25" wide, - 10 hole style, - reversable ( to have 2 different offset with the inner radius shape on both side) - stock Axial beadlock 2.2 6 holes bold pattern - Mayhem Engineering hub fit ( 6 bolt and centering hole) - black colored delrin How much does that cost shipped? Thanks, you make really nice lightweight wheels!!! |
Re: DCW Made to Order Delrin Wheels Are 40 series or 3.8" wheels possible for order? |
Re: DCW Made to Order Delrin Wheels Not at this time, sorry. |
Re: DCW Made to Order Delrin Wheels Kidney beans sure are popular. 2.2's for DickyT. Beadlock on the front, glue on for max knuckle clearance in the back. http://i58.tinypic.com/2elef6r.jpg 2.2's for Jmoritz http://i59.tinypic.com/oavk02.jpg |
Re: DCW Made to Order Delrin Wheels Those look fantastic Duuuuuuuude! I am looking forward to them arriving and getting them on the Yeti. Much thanks sir! |
Re: DCW Made to Order Delrin Wheels Have you ever done a beadlock dually wheel set? This is something I would be interested in. |

I hope to have a personal project coming up that will have duals out back, but they may end up being really wide single piece wheels that are grooved for two tires. |
Re: DCW Made to Order Delrin Wheels No, I meant a regular dually style, such as an F350. I would like to build a dually, but I don't want to glue the tires to the wheels, I would prefer a beadlock system. Could you machine out a "spacer" that allows both rear beadlock wheels to bolt together? |
Re: DCW Made to Order Delrin Wheels These are what I made for Szczerba. I semi-sized them off of a Ford F450. With that kind of offset, you need the wheel to be skinny or there are some interference issues, even with a monster sized hub. I've got them back to rework them so the fronts will clear the steering arms on the knuckles. http://i58.tinypic.com/11bukox.jpg Could I do beadlocks in that style? Absolutely. |
Re: DCW Made to Order Delrin Wheels I was thinking of using the Axial 1.9 Falken Wildpeaks because they are not a "fat" tire. Do you have more photos of those wheels put together? With this design? (or something similar) http://i59.tinypic.com/sff8sj.jpg |
Re: DCW Made to Order Delrin Wheels I don't do that design any more. Too time consuming without charging $$$$ for them. Only other pic I have. http://i58.tinypic.com/2mow6k9.jpg |
Re: DCW Made to Order Delrin Wheels I like them, but with beadlocks. I assume a SLW hub is used? Which beadlock rings do you recommend with your wheels.....sorry for all the ?????'s. |
Re: DCW Made to Order Delrin Wheels Whatever hub you want. If I don't have the specs, you can send it to me so that A) I can have the measurements for future use, and B) I can ensure they fit together properly. Rings can come from anywhere. LockedUP has a pretty good selection if you like aluminum, MThead has a good selection if you like delrin. Both use Axial bolt patterns. |
