To do it right you need a pair of curved lexan scissors, Aside from thaat if you can hold steady an x-acto knife works well to score the lexan and then you can break it at the score you made. Good luck!

On the last body I did I cut close to the lines but left a little extra and then I used a small round sanding drum on my Dremel to smooth out the edges.

Curved body scissors to cut almost to the line, then an Xacto knife with a new number 11 blade to pare thin slivers of lexan away until you reach the line. Finish off with 320 grit then 1000 grit wet-or-dry paper. I always remove the protective film around the edges after the initial scissor cut. I find it gets in the way. |

I have a pair of small, curved scissors I got from longs/cvs for like nose hair and stuff lol. Same thing as "lexan scissors"....might save you a couple bucks.

Holy cow! You guys are serious about cutting and sanding and polishing and buffing! I just cut with scissors and IF it needs a little sanding fine but even on my 100 dollar painted bodys I dont get that extreme.

i use the score and tear method on thinner lexan and then cut the thicker stuff and clean it all up with the dremel
