| bad creeper
this sucks i picked up a creeper the outher day and and built it over the weekend i put a 27t and a sidewiner in it as i was going to use it as a rock racer so i tryed it out for the first time today and 5 min in to my run and the frount axle stoped work. so i poend it up and what bid i find 1 bad cvd 1 bad locking ring and a busted diff case. i think its time to lock the diff for good |

I had bought one for my kid and within an hour the front dif was exploded. What I did was took the stock Axial locker (round aluminum one with pin through middle) filed out the axle slots a bit and it fit right into the creeper housing. Haven't had a problem since. I also had prob with breaking pins in front axle. Repaced pins and heat shrunk around the big part of knuckle.

My front also went it just kept popping out i took a washer and place between bearing we will see how it works

And that, my friends, is why I got the aluminum carriers right off the bat. along with Al knuckles, C-hubs and rear lock outs. Finished off with TRAXXAS d-shafts and hardened yokes. One of these decades a kit will actually come out built solid the first time ... but then there'd be no fun in that now would there.
