I've got one coming (tuber) ... I'll let you know how it fits and what needs to be done when it gets here.

It wont fit directly, the mounting points are different, it "might" fit with some modding.

the mounting points on the creeper are about 1 15/16 of an inch and the the ax10 is about 1 1/2 inches but if you had a drill like you said you had it should fit pretty closely because the skid width is about the exact same so a spacer or two might be needed. hope this helps. |

I picked up an extrapair of chassis paltes so I can mod them/body as needed and still have use of the creeper they can also serve as a template for any future chassis I make. I'm figuring to use my stock bdy as side panels, etc .... |

Easy there Turbo! I still have to do the work, I just got the stuff in the mail yesterdy evening. And I usualy take this stuff out to work so I don't have to fight with the wife over my time ... :? ... laying tile in the kitchen/building back patio/stone work ... OR ... R/C cars ... Guess which one doesn't land me in the dog house? Although I do have her in agreement we need to buy 8 tons of Blue moon Granite in a 24" avg stone size (sized so I can carry them, cause I'm a cheap bugger!) to build a 6' x 35' crawling ... er ... retaining wall in the side yard ;) |

OK, so, so far .... the stock chassis is too short and the wrong shape to use the tubers mounting points. There is room to modify but I'm going to drag it all out to work before I start chopping. I head out tomorrow night for 8 days of ... fun? One plan would be to use axial side plates .... nah! to impatient to wait for that. Another would be to make adapter plates .... can you say 'let's make the top heavy rig even more so ... nah! I think I'm going to go with clearancing the tuber where the Venom chassis inteferes (due to it's shape). And then space and attach the chassis to the "saddle pouches" I plan to do this as cleanly as possible so a complete disassemby of the tuber is in order there. I will go as fa as to say the stock battery tray and shock mounts will almost certainly be unuseable with this chassis. |

I thought of trying the same thing, but just looking at the pics of the Proline tuber vs. the Creeper chassis, I just couldn't take the gamble. I ended up doing a full metal tuber that bolts to the stock chassis. Good luck with your modding!!! |
