Probably lost a couple of teeth on the spider gears. Mine is also making a clicking sound in both of the diffs, so I ordered some flm lockers. That should solve the problem.

mine has been clicking from brand new, had the axles apart several times..... nothing wrong. Now I just run it, when something fails then I'll know what to replace. If I had to guess I believe it's the outer bearings, thought about putting in some aftermarket ones to see if they were at fault but again I'll wait until something gives LOL!!

I had the same problem. I tore apart my diff 2 times before I realized it was the cheap inner bearing on the knuckle.

mine clicked for a while because i could not get the diff to stay in the locked position. I just used the the washer trick and it has worked great ever since. HomeDepot sells the perfect fiber washer to fit the gap.

i had the same problem its the lockers unless you have some thing to keep them in the locked position or in the unlocked position that little red locker is just going to pop in and out causing that noise

yep!!! thats what happened to me.. I was getting a clicking sound. Took the front axle apart and check the diff. I just happen to check the bearings out on the end, and found the culprit.

Yeah I had so much trouble with the diff lockers that I took the diffs out and put an axial locker in. No more problems.
