Default traxxas drive shaft swap question

ok ive searched and i think i got what i need just would like to make sure.

instead of the hardend steel versions can i use these Traxxas Heavy Duty Differential Output Yoke Set (2) [TRA6828X] | RC Cars & Trucks - A Main Hobbies

with these

http://www.rcplanet.com/Traxxas_Half..._p/tra1953.htm

shafts? i lost the pins and the inner piece that goes in the shaft today so i gotta do something but funds are tight and im not trying to spend 18 on output yokes alone

thanks

they will work just fine. the #1 most reccammended upgrade for a stock creeper is to change out the stock drive shafts. those shafts are also the ones that r reccammended by us creeper guys to swap to. all the guys run them and they work just fine.

one thing about the plastic yokes is dont tighten the screws to tight. they are very easy to strip out and then u have to get a new set.

those are the wrong yokes...you need tra-4628x...the ones you show there are for 5mm shafts that need to be drilled for the yoke pins....not a good idea with 5mm out put shafts. As far as I know those yokes wont work with the tra1953 shafts. My steelys lasted almost two seasons...and I only replaced one complete shaft
