Lookin good. It might could use a little lighter oil in the shocks so youll get better responce.

Thanks for the info... I've got the internal springs that come with TCS's hardware kit in them with the stock axial oil (droop setup - that's why it bounces). Is that oil somewhere around 30wt? I wish the springs were just a tad weaker, I think. I don't like the way it bounces, but I don't have any fuel tubing on the shafts or anything. I want to get some 90mm shocks, but am not sure which ones to get. Can you help me narrow it down? Here's my choices so far: Tamiya highlift shocks RC4WD 90mm scale shocks traxxas long shocks (from what I've found out, these are 90mm) losi XXXT front truck shocks Last edited by NitroStar; 05-06-2008 at 06:57 PM. |

That's pretty nice looking. I just finished up my build on my X-trail today. Ordered the HPI rubicon also. I did mine as a dual purpose rig. I went soft droop in the front shocks with 80 wt and stiff springs in the rear with 80 wt oil. I've got it set up with a side winder and BEC and a 27T epic motor with a 15 t pinion and for a battery I made an aluminum tray up front that will fit a pack as big as our 10000 mAH Li-po's. It'll drive all day and so far it crawls pretty dang good with M3 Mashers and memory foams. Jason |

I'd like to see some pics of it MaxAmps. Oh, I love my 7.4v 8000mah battery I got from you over a year ago. It still makes my T4 fly. I've ran it in a TC4 also. I would race like 10 times in one night and never take it out of the car. I would just top it off after it cooled for about 5 minutes. Still has over 7300mah in it and I haven't ever balanced it!

I'm gonna do a build thread on it in about a week after the shell gets painted up. It'll be in the Axial section. With the 2S 10000 in it it drives like a Jeep. It a fun little rig. You really should be balancing that pack while you charge it'll last even longer and you'll prevent a cell in the pack from overcharging. Jason |
