That would be a question for the course designers.

What line was the goal after the gate at the top of the red ramp? You fight to get up over the rock edge right at the gate, then looks like you have 10-12" of flat top. Were you supposed to launch off of it or turn and go down the one side?
Actually looks like a tough gate.

-- ah, just saw mat's vid. He found the line on that one.

Looks like fun was had!

That was the second UK nats ever, So everyone is new to it here in England. We didnt have any qualifiers or regionals to decide who gets invited, It was an open event so anyone at any skill level could compete. There are no UK crawling clubs yet and therefore no way of knowing what level the competitors were at. This is perhaps why the event organisers didnt put a harder course out. Alot of people found that the courses were doable but struggled with the time alloted.

I think for the future of the UK nats, we need a nats qualifier event earlier in the year to sort the men from boys. Next year should be even busier than this and there are only a certain number of people you can run in a single event.

You guys have 100 odd competitors at your nats right?

Was a blast and I cant wait to compete again next year.

Thanks for the comments guys.
