Default Homemade Foam Crawling Tire....say what?

Stumbled across this tonight on the Tube...thought it was pretty cleaver. Looks to grip pretty well.

Looks pretty cool. I wonder how long it takes to build a set and how long it holds up.

hmm, i wonder if they will be "sticky" on the rocks and such, when the get a layer of sand/dust on them. Would like to see them on the rocks. Pretty kool build. but i think ill just stick with buying tires. lol

Yeah, looks like alot of time drawing up the templates, and cutting them out....then making the tires from them. Tires are still cheap enough to just buy them, but I thought it was cool to see someone build their own tires from scratch...and actually look like they'd do well.

Crazy skills but that's a ton of work. I think I'm going to stick with commercial available tires for my rigs I'm way to lazy.

Crazy Japanese, plenty of time gone into those. Would be interested to see how they perform over time ;)
