Default 74 degree climb with 1.9 comp. rig must see

This is a video of my 1.9 MRC comp rig making a steep climb at the last comp, 74 degrees with no torque twist biches! and the top is about 5.5' tall starting out from dustyness below......and yes, I drove up it normally, no placing it on the ramp shi#@#!

Sorry, I ain't hatin, I ain't callin you a liar. It just doesn't look like 74. More like 65 to 67. A great climb, I agree. Prove me wrong, and post up a quality vid with a close up of the angle guage after the climb. I will show you an example next week.

Edit: After looking at your vid many times, and looking at other ramp vids that I and others have made, I do believe your degree claim, and truly apoligize, my bad, and your rig and climb are great.

As soon as I can, granted I may have to wait till the next comp, but I will shoot a better vid with the angle clearly visible , no problem, although I have to admit I can see how it doesn't look like 74 from the angle, it was just the best angle for the cell phone camera, p.o.s. that it is. Looking at it at other angles it looked nearly vertical. And to answer the other guys question, the board had some kind of grip tape on it, not super rough, I guesstimate it to be around like 150-220 grit sandpaper, which was dusty and my tires were dusty....and there were few if any other rigs there that could do it....saying that just makes me feel good

Awesome dude that's insane are you going to share some pics of your set up? I'd like to know more about your rig but I can understand if you don't want to.

There is a thread about my comp rig on the MRC section. I am working on some better pics, as I am not good with cameras n computers. But the pics are ok i think. Check it out.

As for the weight of the front tires the total weight of the rim n tires is 6.4 oz., the weight of the the rear rim n tire is 4.4 oz. my rig isn't that heavy like 2.7 lbs. os so

Ok I have looked at your video many times, and also looked at your build thread. No doubt, that is a great climb, and a very capable rig, and I applaud your efforts. I do think MRC's can attain better ramp angles than 2.2 rigs, because of lighter weight and size, and maybe are just better with weight transfer. Anyway, I do apoligize for any negativeness in my first response. Here is the example of a video I shot. I built the ramp, and it is set at 63 degress. I should have gotten slightly closer to the dial at the end, but you get the idea.

The only reason I questioned your vid was this pic I took of my maxed out ramp at 72 degrees, and as you can tell by the vid, was modified a bit:

No worries Gunnar I understood what you were getting at. I will set up the guage on the next climg and use a real video recorder for better resolution, as well as get a better angle to show the actual steepness of the climb. But I also agree that the power/weight ratio is better in the 1.9's , they are simply awsome when set up right. Nice climb by the way,

Wow thats awesome, and I thought my junker golioth 2.2 rig was doing good at this angle which I figured to be around 68-70 degrees, I guess its more like 60 degrees.
Man you guys really popped my little bubble lol

Sorry for the super bad quality was a little dark in my cellar
