XR-10 with BWD chassis Here are a couple videos of my XR-10 with Billet Works Designs chassis and upper/lower links. All but 1 clip so far have been taken by me holding my Droid under my chin and hoping that the crawler is in the frame. :lmao: I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them. Build Thread: http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/axial-xr10/312656-omegas-xr-10-now-xr-mantis.html Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BmOnAOYHNlQ <iframe width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/BmOnAOYHNlQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4pz6I0G47U <iframe width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/t4pz6I0G47U" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |

Yeah, I guess compared to some videos my chin doesn't do too bad. Here's another one that I took/made today: <iframe width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/uav2KE6w25M" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
cool Man thats a cool place to crawl .Looks like you need a dig on that rig. |
It has dual Mamba Micro Pros controlled by a 4PL radio. Where should I be using dig more? When I first started crawling (shown in the 1st video and to a lesser extent the 2nd video) I didn't use dig or over/under-drive much at all as I was learning how to control the rig. The most I used dig for was to gain traction when going up some steep cliffs. Now I pretty much always under-drive the rear motor and I'm experimenting with dig to turn sharper, pivot on rocks and so forth. Falls Park is definitely a cool place to crawl...it's 10 minutes from my house and the reason that I decided to get into crawling. "thumbsup" |
