Default How waterproof is your truck?

I found out right before this vid that my mud truck actually floats
Had a ton of flooding in my town and this is in my back 40.

In this vid I was playing with my losi micro and my cat was interested. After I put a piece of yarn on the rear axle he finally decided to make contact lmao. Played a curious tug of war. His name is Boris and I have had him since birth.

My honcho wasent as waterproof as expected in the trottle department and i wasent cheap with the electrical tape ( spray ) and plastidip on my HH BR-XL esc.

So after a flew weekends in and around my new favorite creek the esc finally let go

Waiting right now for my soldering iron to heat up,and then i will mount the tekin esc and 35T motor i got as spares 2 days before the holmes hobbies esc refused to take more punishment / water.

I better order a new holmes esc just in case the Tekin die on me too

Default My Honcho

I drove it in the snow and waterproofed everything. Never had any problems **knock on wood**

Wow that video and trucks are awesome ! I will be jumping on the axial scaler bandwagon now that the offset pumpkin axles from the wraith are out. I want a nice little scaler like those. I've made a couple attempts over the last couple years but didn't follow through enough. Yours really performed great

Impressive videos. Having wheeled a full size in the mud more times than I care to think about the cleaning (even on a small scale rig) makes me crazy. I like the rocks 'cause they're nice and clean!

I'm using the traxxas vxl waterproof esc and motor. So it's brushless. Never thought I was at risk overheating the esc. When water splashes on the fins it cools it immensely. Really throws some torque. Thanks for the compliments guys.

I just run it under the garden hose then air dry. Best thing about small scale mudding is quick cleanup
