Question for monster trucks

I am wondering if you can help....I have built a straight axle monster truck out of an ax10 scorpion, however the motor will mot turn the wheels....with this said, I am interested in knowing if anyone has built one like this, and what you used for the motor, in order to get it to move and steer?

What exactly does this mean ?

ie: tires are huge, gear ratio is too tall, motor(s) are all wrong...
this list of possibilities is endless.

so I think you'll need supply more detailed/specifics as to what you have currently.

Otherwise it's just a guessing game.

Re: Question for monster trucks

well, I took an axial ax10 scorpion, bolted another chassis on top of it, put a traxxas esc on it, and a 7.4v nicad bat with tamiya connectors. I have offset clod buyer plastic wheels, with clod tires on them, with the aluminum hex adapters between the rim and the axle. It has a axial 27 turn motor powering it. It will work with the regular ax10 wheels, but not with the clod wheels. It will turn the clod wheels very slowly when turned onto its lid, but does not move when on the clod wheels.

Re: Question for monster trucks

hey guys, just wanted to thank you, it would seem that the aluminum clod adapters are contacting the steering knuckles and as a result, are preventing the wheels from turning....thanks for your help. You helped me to find the problem. Thanks again.
