Thumbs up Barboursville Park

My son has been playing minor league baseball at the Barboursville Park and I found some nice spots after practice yesterday...now all I need is a running rig

If you go across the soccer fields (across from the baseball complex) there's a creek that runs the length...these are just a few shots I took in a fairly small area.

tell me about it. I finally decided that I'm building myself a JK and have sold off the Hilux bodies that I had. And I've got two Hummer H3s that I'm building up for my boys.

I haven't touched any of mine for a while. To many outside projects going on since it is getting warmer. I need to buy another Wraith to get the axles for the 2 speed Bronco. I need to get the wheels out pass the body so I can get the body lower.

why not just buy the axles rather than the whole rig? And that would be a good move for the bronco - lower and wider would make it much more stable

The price that people are getting for the axles is nuts. I can get the kit and then build it and put some scx-10 axles under it and get most of my money back out of it or just let my boy run the crap out of it.

I believe your running a yj with your coils. Jk is 4 door xj is Cherokee. If you had leafs you would be a tj. Older would be a cj.

You have it backwards, the YJ had the leafs and the TJ had the coils. I'm not sure what the CJ's had.

Every jeep/wrangler up to the TJ was leaf sprung. This includes all of the flat fenders, military, CJ (in all it's forms) and the YJ. The TJ was the first multi-linked coil sprung Wrangler. The TJ suspension was taken from the Grand Cherokee. The TJ ran from 97-06, with the LJ (long wheelbase Unlimited) coming out from 04-06. The JK replaced the TJ in 2007 and includes all the varieties (2 door, 4 door, Rubi).

It's getting better. The bruising and most of the swelling is gone, but I can tell the muscles around the hip are still very weak compared to the other side. My flexibility in my knee and hip are a lot better than they were right after surgery. Still having to use a walker and watch how I move. I walked around on a cane for the first time at physical therapy on Thursday. My therapist is really pleased with how I'm progressing, so I guess I'm doing good.

Probably through the middle of August. Even when I do go back, I'll be limited duty.
