How strong are xfactor axles? I have a clod and have never used xfactor stuff before. How do they compare to the others out there?

IMHO,they are very strong. The only downfall I had with the ones my son ran for a few weeks were the axle couplers. The grubs kept coming loose. It would then drive like you were still running a 1 legger rearend. Locktite fixxed it up but I didn't care for the ground clearence. The pig on the X axles are huge. The only way to get decent ground clearence is to run BIG tires,like Kongs. IMHO,Twin Force axles are a better option. You have axles that are just as strong if not stronger in certain areas and alot more ground clearence. They both use 1:8 scale buggy stuff so they are both very strong axles. They both come with straight cut gears,if you get the helical cut gears for the Twin axles you'll have a stronger ring and pinion. The Twin axles are also easy to mod and change the width.

Compaired to your Clods,the stuff in either axle dwarfs the Clod stuff,so yes,they are alot stronger.

I've had no problem with mine, except for the couplers always working themselves loose. Red loctite fixed that problem. They could have a little more clearance. I run narrowed moab xl's, and the rear pumpkin sometimes get's caught up, and the width can be killer at comps. wheel placement is important. But as for strength A+!

X-Factor axles are good for a big truck not needed for comp use. If you want to get serious for a comp rig, go with Twin/Mad Force axles. There are more hop-ups for the Kyosho axles than the XTM stuff.

Although X-Factor axles are soooo 2004....
