I guess you would know your asswipes, so I must be one. I never bothered to spend that much time with fecal matter and toiletpaper. I drop a stink pickle in the hopper, clean up, and head out. But good for you friend, it's good to have a hobby other than that of RC Crawlers, but making a study of used TP ("asswipes" right?) is more than I could handle.

I still find Traxxas products reliable and easy to work on and they adapt to other aplications nicely.

I agree on both counts. It would be nice if Traxxas did, but o-well, rc crawlers crawl on without them.

Hummm....they already seem to be in on the "scene"....I have used quite a few traxxas parts on my crawlers....transmissions......metal yokes, etc. Why is it that you need a RTR crawler? My favorite part of this hobby is building my crawler....not having someone build it for me.

Why is it that you need a RTR crawler?

I was neck-deep into r/c's 15 years ago. I've had hundreds of r/c cars and trucks in almost every scale and I got burned out on it all. After a 8+ year break, I'm getting back into r/c's, this time, through crawling. I've had nothing but good experiences with Traxxas products, and was hoping they would join the crawler market with a rig of their own.

I don't want to work on shit anymore. I made the mistake of buying a Wheely King instead of an Axial, thinking that ****ing HPI was going to support the stupid machine with a crawler conversion. I'm tired of waiting on them and I don't want to cobble a conversion together, so the WK will be the family basher and I'll get myself an Axial.

You don't need a conversion kit. The Wheely king axles are really just as good as the AX-10. You really don't need a kit, cobbling is where this hobby started. I'm tired of all these new guys thinking that if it doesn't bolt together then its a piece of crap.:roll:

I didn't say the WK is crap. What's wrong with wanting to just run something as-is? The Axial is a better crawler than the WK...I was hoping Traxxas would come up with something better than the Axial.
