Well i know this sounds nooby but what would the best shocks be to run on a comp 2.2 rig? and should i run them without or with the spring?

Man THAT IS THE TIME OLD QUESTION!!! there is no best shock or best set up, this is rock crawling, you set it up how you feel is good for what you climb

I like Maxx Big Bore shocks. Losi threaded make a great shock also. But that just my opition. As far as spring that depends on your setup. if your running droop, 50/50 etc. Tell us more about your setup and we can help you more.

I am running a tuber chassis on my custom tlt crawler i usually bash around on the rocks in the back yard but, i do do some comp. stuff but not too comp. like

I love my HPI Super shocks. But many like the Losi Crawler shocks.

How you run them depends on what you run them on.
I agree, I really like the HPI Super Shocks.

A725 is the 4"
A723 is the 3.4"

As far as running droop, partial droop, full compression, internal spring, external spring, or no spring. Well that's something you have to decide and alot of it depends on how your chassis is designed.

I've seen many rigs win with the shocks set at full extension or close to it and external springs. That's a safe way to start out.
