I'm trying to do a tummy tuck, or make a new chassis, cause it gets hung up on some places. any ideas or comments are welcome.

for the rear drive shafts is one stock and the one coming from the tranny extended?
thats what it looks like just curiouse"thumbsup"

yep, I'm waiting on some Tmaxx driveshafts to come in to replace those and probably rotate the axle supports, and re do the upper link.

small update, made a chassis on Pro/E and most likely during the week I will j\hit the hardware store or hobby shop and get myself some 1/8" aluminum sheet, we a have a laser cutter on campus and going to cut there and test it out. I will post pics of the chassis later.

here's a pic of the chassis plate

I can upload the cad file if you like. it's around, 16 5/8" long, and almost 6" high

yes indeed, I redesigned it, and took the top off, made some letters, and cahnges a few things, Imma talk to the guy with the laser cutter romorrow and see if I can strike a deal with him and cut the chassis

well, found out that the laser cutter on campus doesn't cut metal, so, I "tummy tucked" the WK chassis, relocates the battery mount point as well as the tranny and upper links mounts with 2 custom plates, redid the front links, added some suppoert to the steering links and I installed some T-maxx shafts that finally came in the mail yesterday. PICS!!!!!!!!!!

ENJOY!

Imma still cut the chassis but I gotta go to a steel cutter place, and check the prices.

Custom fitted PS2 fan for cooling, "tummy tucked" chassis, custom chassis plates to relocate trans, upper suspension links, and battery holder. custom made plates to mount body posts for T-maxx body. Custom made head and tail light buckets for lights, flashing lights from Yeah Racing. Custom links made from Associated rod ends, aluminum fuel tubing, thread all among other things, stretched springs for more pre-load, Imex A/T tires, cut down inner foams, custom servo mounting plate 9improved from the first one, removed servo saver and T-maxx Drive shafts for the extended wheelbase.

Next up, hitec high torque servo, 55T lathe motor.
