I've got a red 8330 and my wife has a Moto Q9c. They're both pretty good, but I prefer my 8330 to her Q9. The scroll ball on my BB is just so much easier to use to navigate through items on the phone than having to roll a single wheel on the side. The buttons are a little bigger on the Moto, but I have no trouble texting on my BB. I don't have hers set up for e-mail, but my BB is just stupid easy to set up and use, both with my BB account and with my home RoadRunner account.

I love my 8gb apple I-phone. The camera isn't great but it holds more than enough albums and is really good for surfing the net.
2 types of Cellphone users. Those who have an iPhone and those who wished they had an iPhone. You won't be sorry. I won't own anything but the iPhone for now...

The Blackberry Curve 8330 is rated highest in Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) 1.54W/kg
The motorola Q is on the top ten lowest SAR ratings along with the palm.
This is from and article about cellphones and cancer "Laptop" magizine Oct 2008.
My company rolls the Palm Treo's, One thing about smartphones is that they are great computing/data devices but the reception suffers with some carriers. I live in a rural area and the phone feature of the "smartphone" is what is lacking. Probably not an issue if you on it in the city or urban personal use.
We use them (30-40 users) in the woods for mobile computing, wireless form uploads to servers, etc, etc,

X2 - iPhones are horribly limited by their maker. You can't do squat with them.
The BlackBerrys are very nice, much more solid than a WindowsMobile phone. The only downside to a BB is that your wireless provider usually requires you to have some kind of BB data or internet service that will raise your bill up.

I decided on the Black Berry, $169.99 and it also has a $70 rebate. I decided to not go with another Motorola product when I took a look at the KRZR laying on my desk:lol:

Blackberrys suck, I have an I phone that I hate. I wished I still had my Blackjack II.
Once you jailbreak them that statement isn't even close to being true ;-).
Verizon sucks in the south, ATT is the only way to go. I have a company Nextel and that thing is useless as tits on a boar hog.

What about when you brick it, then you have to pay the $100 insurance deposit? Not to mention you loose all you data that was previously on the device.:ror:

I have had Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Tmobile and now rest with At&T. This is solely due to the iPhone. I had Verizon right before this and switched to Sprint because the Verizon service was letting me down in certain areas.
Shaun if you can ONLY go with Verizon phones then post that! Why did I bother to respond to this thread...why.
Bricking is a thing of the past. As far as losing data goes, you just have to backup your phone through itunes, which it does automatically every time you sync it. Although itunes does not backup the apps that you've downloaded from Cydia or Installer
Just restore the phone before you take it in and you'll be fine.

The i phone is neat but it one of the most uncomfortable phones I've ever used. If you have a GF or wife that calls you alot don't get one, plus the battery life sucks especially if your using the net.
