I just picked up the new issue of Xtreme RC Cars and saw a write up they did on the MRC. They put in there review that the average run time of the MRC was 17min with the stock battery:shock: I got over 3 hours on my first charge with the stock battery and had consistently 2 hour+ times after that. So my question is are they saying that is the times people can expect to get off of a single charge or that was there advrage "Play" time with the MRC? I hope it's the last one otherwise they are misinforming poeple badly on that one! I also thought this was funny......the writer says "The torque of the motor can handle just about anything you throw at it, and will never stop moving the wheels." Then in the same paragraph just 2 lines later he say's..."The only thing I noticed was that the motor stopped when I locked a wheel between rocks.":lol: He says that the MRC axles are steel!!!! And he says at the end in the "Main Competition" section he list the "Wheelie King":lol::lol::lol: Ummmm how is that even in the same class as a 1/18th scale????? I guess this is what happens when a car mag does write up's on crawlers........

Both little gimick toy class vehicles. Neither crawl stock.

Wow really?

I dont own a losi crawler, but from what I have heard its quite the little crawler out of the box.

I think your mind is mush with that incorrect statment you posted .

Do you even own either of the crawlers mentioned?

Compared to what? It now has its own class, which will put it competing against TLT axled crawlers. Out of the box with some mods to layout of stock components its not bad, but its just another RTR with components that hold it back greatly.

An incorrect opinion, come on now. Opinions are correct to the people who also feel them to be true. I feel neither are great crawlers out of the box. Your opinion of my opinion is no different.

WTF are you talking about? Your saying the MRC won't crawl good out of the box! Do you even have one? With two zip ties(move the battery over the front) and doing the Badger mod to the shocks it will out crawl a lot of 2.2's! Man you talk out of your ass a lot!

Far be it from me to defend binaryterror:shock::lol:
I think he meant straight out of the box with no mods. I don't own one..... yet, but I've seen a few straight out of the box that didn't crawl that great, then saw one with the battery moved to the front and it did a lot better.
Like I said, I'm not defending binaryterror:lol::lol::lol:

Kenny is saying it will crawl great out of the box. What else he's saying is that if you do those 2 mods it will about out crawl a 2.2. READ!!!!!!!

Even the Axial does not crawl good without the battery being moved! The Losi is a very good (For what it is) crawler out of the box!

Kenny, you dumbass! Don't you realize that binary is 5th in Michigan?

He knows WTF he's talking about.

My bad:lol: I just thought that since I finished with a -6 in our last comp with a "Stock "LMC" that I knew a thing or two about how it crawled! 5th! WOW! That is impressive.......

Oh boy another debate. You guys should go back to high school.

I Finished 2nd With Only Free Mods And The No Grip Tires They Put On Them. I Think They Are Worthy Of Being Called A Comp Rig And Not A Toy.

Sure it crawls decent out of the box but when I ran it with a modified one there was no comparison. No matter how hard I tried to finess it the moded version just killed it. One thing for sure though they are tough little guys unlike most toys.

Needlees to say I have modded mine and it does much better now.:ror:

I think it does fine out of the box, the tires are whats realy holding this little rig backf from right out of the box, and the batt placement will make it crawl prety good "compleatly free mod" , to say "neather crawl stock" is the stupidest thing ive heard, mine crawled stock , I should go call fox for breaking news  I have not run the cliff climber and have no oppinion on it.
