You asked for people's opinions on your Rustler. This isn't the Traxxas forum.... You're gonna get opinions you wont like. This is a rock crawler forum, not a go-fast truck forum. Most of these guys, including myself, have go fast rigs to play with when we get tired of rock crawling.... Most of us have probably owned a Rustler at one point. We know what the Rustler is capable of and what it isn't capable of. Rock crawling is not one of the things it's capable of.
Here's a couple pieces of advice....
1) You're ruining your credibility making claims about your truck and what it can do/has done, when we already know what those types of trucks can do. I've been into RC for almost 20 years now, and I'm sure that's common for the others that have posted in your thread. You've been into RC for what.... maybe 2 years? Experience counts....
2) You should really think about apologizing to those that you may have pissed off or offended. One day, you may be building a crawler and run into a problem that one of these guys might have the answer to. Chances are they'll remember this thread and pass you by..... Think about it"thumbsup"

wow i was having waaay too much fun at the scx10 build thread tonight and missed all this.

anyways rustlerguy is 93 bronco guy too ?

whats with kids starting two accounts to try and back each other up ?
i went back to the first posts too and looked, seems to me someone swashed a bit of mud on the outside of the body and wheels...
nothing under the lid got one spec of dust let alone a splat of mud or two.

Wow...Where the hell to start...um...

First off why are you defending rusterguy, er I mean your other login? It's blatently clear it's you. I've been around forums longer than you've been alive, and I can spot mutiple user accounts fairly easily. Granted I haven't been here long, but it's clear as day. I bet of one of the mods ran an IP check against both accounts they'll come back the same. You came here, posted poser shots of your rustler, and wanted only good comments about them. You then tried posting it in the scale forums, when there's not a DAMN thing scale on a rustler. Smudging mud on the body and tire and then claiming you were 'muddin' it. Any avid RC guy knows that an e-rustler would most likely NOT make it thru a mudbog that thick. You deserved all the flame you received. Then on top of that you took it out to take poser shots if it all over, and wanted 'only positive comments' about it. The only poser shots I take are on my kitchen table or patio/living room. I don't think I have any poser shots of any of my bridgade (as in placing it in a spot and saying it drove in and out).

We are all mature here. We came on, GIVE EACH OTHER RESPECT and don't lie about our rigs. You clearly came on, basically spammed the forum with your 'scale' rustler, and were laughed at. Yes the first couple people gave you credit for trying it, but after the 4th or 5th thread, it just got old. If I posted a new thread every time I did something to one of my RC's, my server would be completely out of room. Wednesday I assembled a new crawler, disassembled it, and reassembled it. I then turned around and stripped down a motor and rebuilt it for one of my nitro models, and then pulled out my drifters and cleaned & tuned them up (that makes a total of 6 today)

Then your claim that the rustler 'can crawl' just makes me wanna fly out to FL and watch you crawl with the rustler (Oh wait.. I will be there in June). If you knew the slightest bit about crawling and 4x4, you would know that an open diff is NOT in anyway a rock crawlin' machine. One tire gets off the ground or looses contact and it'll spin like a mofo. Sure you can lock it up, but it's still only 2wd. The split second the rear gets light, it's done. Have you ran in a comp yet?

Finally... I don't know about you but chicks go 'Awwwww' when I tell them my hobby is spending time with my kids building and running RC vehicles.

and are you honestly saying that rc is a waste of time cause it cant get you girls? im pretty sure non of us in the forums get into rc for the ladies. its just somthing we enjoy. and actually i work on my rc stuff when i want to get away from my girl. to tell the truth i actually met my significant other at bar while i was talking to my friends about rc crawlers and it peaked her interest.

And I also cant beleive your trying to tell kenny how your 1:1 is SO much better than his, when kenny has been doing this stuff MUCH longer than you have. You are the one making a fool of yourself man. you got all of rcc laughing at you just like rustlerguy did. Rustlerguy is a noob to this hobby, he didnt know what he was doing with his rustler... I was nice to him. But YOU.. you think you know more about this sh!t than we do, when your just another idiot who thinks their rig is SO much better than everyone elses when its a bone stock hi-lift. Just face it, your bronco is a peice of crap, kennies 1:1 is better than yours, and if you are ashamed of your hobby get the heck off the site and go get you a chick who will dump you in a week because your a complete retard...

It is also inspiring. I think my Slash would make a sweet scale crawler. Think of the extra ground clearance it has over a Rustler.:-P

Not gonna drag my rc's out into snow and 15 degree weather, so here ya go:
I don't run the Jato anymore since I robbed the shocks off it to try on my 2.2 comp rig. The Mustang is a HPI RS4 and haven't run it in about 2 years. The 1.9 Losi mini crawler is my 1.9 comp rig. I bought the Revo and Cliff Climber for my wife, but she only runs the Revo when we go camping. She has no interest in the Cliff Climber at all..... says it's too slow:lol: I bought the boat new 2 or 3 years ago and haven't run it yet (1:1 boat is more fun:lol:)
