That is from outside of one flare to the other right? From what i've read, ax-10 axles are 8 5/8 inches wide and it looks like the body is more than 3/8 of an inch wider than the axles. With the 1.9s, it doesnt even look like the tires stock past the flares.

i would stick to the 2.2, makes it look like your running 40's instead of 33 inch tires."thumbsup"

I figured out its really close 1/9 scale. The 1:1 has a 116" wheelbase compared to the bodies 13" wheelbase. That puts 4.5" tall Flat Irons at a scale 40" tire. The RC4WD rock crushers that are 5.5" tall would be like 49s!

All RC manufacturers are a bit off on their scale variables...............and New Bright is about on the top of the list.

I have a New Bright 1:6 F150 Lightning body here, that I bought planning around a build planned for 1:6 scale.................just to find out that the WB sits dead at 1:8 scale.

That just means it will pass inspection here in PA right? Tires can't stick out past the flares...

These are great! I cant believe how cheap they are....

I got a New Bright Land Rover LR3, and the body looks amazing.

I actually tore it all apart just to see what mods I could do to the original rig... as kinda a fun waste of time. Just see what could be done with it.

I guess thats a topic for another thread though!

hey guys are these rc trucks or just toy trucks? never mind i found them gooing to have to pick one up

New bright FJ

I just ordered a 1:10 scale New Bright Toyota FJ for $50 so I can Start a scale build. I ordered it from www.target.com, has anyone built a scaler for this body? I was thinking of using the XTrail or maybe scx10 chassis.
