Yes sir they are. Outside to outside is a shade less than 10.750" A tad wide,but it'll work for now. My Axial rig was 10.250" and I liked it...but could have used a bit more width at times. I may end up buying a new set of wheels if this width is to much.

I've had plastic spur gears handle more abuse than I was giving this thing.:roll:

Wow, I was expecting you to say the dogbones or the knuckle even.. Wasn't expecting to hear the gears were the failure point!! I've given my axles hell and then some, the only things I've managed to break are 1 axleshaft, 1 knuckle, bent the ears on the axle tube, and a few bearings lol. Could the gears possibly have been faulty?? Man, now I'm going to have to tear mine down and do some inspecting. Oh well, about time to re-grease them up anyway

Those aren't brass rods;-) They are stock Axial shock shafts. For said reasons.;-) Good sturdy bars for a battery strap. Actually,they were just the right length and a perfect fit in the brackets I built to hold them,so I used them:lol:

RR pinions,and they are the metric ones. At least thats what the package said. Kinda hard to see the difference with the naked eye....specially my eyes.:lol::lol::lol: Bout blind as a bat anymore:lol:

I took all the gears to work,cleaned them up real good and looked them over under a magnifying lens in our inspection room. They were chewed up a bit. I have some super tiny files I use to debur little parts with and used them to clean the gears up best I could. I think they are still useable. Since the rear axle stalls more,I've got them in the rear axle now. I think I'll try and get some actual Berg pinions this time.

IF I can find 2 good grub screws with the right thread and not stripped out,yes,I'll have this truck ready for Sunday.

Thats weird I was thinking mine came with the grubs :-?

damn, im running Robinson 12t metric pinions and it took me 7 months to strip a set of gears.

I'm pretty pleased with the way this thing worked on Sunday. TOTALLY different than my shaftie. It was working well until I lost a front shaft on course 3. Guess it's time to put 1:8 scale buggy shafts in this thing as well. They hold up great in my super.

New shoes

Was in desperate need of new shoes. My old wheels worked very well,but allot of the threads for the locking rings were starting to strip. Only having 6 bolts per side,I have lost a bead a few times. I knew I wanted a better bead area with more bolts

Waiting on material right now,but these will be available in the vendors section soon. Couple different offsets available. This one provides 10 3/4" width,which I prefer myself. The other offset should net right at 10 1/2" width....might be able to go a bit skinnier. We'll just have to play with our program and see how far we can push the offset.

I'll tell ya,these HOLD a tire. I'm waiting on hardware right now as I don't have enough on hand to finish a complete set. I ran 3 packs through running a couple of these wheels with only 4 bolts per ring. Never lost a bead."thumbsup" You'll notice the hex area is allot beefier than some wheels. I did this mainly for Greg.:lol: Only guy I know thats broke the hex area out of an aluminum wheel. He won't break these.:lol: There is probably enough meat there to even cut a 14mm hex if someone prefers a 14mm hex,or has a special order.
