whats your favorite whiskey?

I may go grab a case of Nappy Ass and join you this weekend...

Hell, I might as well grab some Mad Dog 20/20 too!

Oh I'll do the 20/20 fo sho.

Dude, $160 a bottle, you should be trying single malt scotches fo reals.

oh good thread!!

i've been enjoying more and more wiskey latley some of my favorites

Absalute favotire, stranahans colorado whiskey, its like no other whiskey i've tasted. a nice sweet fruity nose that takes a little of the edge off, a great deep flavor that fills your mouth and the perfect spice to finish. its great with a dash of purified water to bring the proof down and open up the palatte. ice will pretty much kill the great straigh tflavor but its still great on a hot summer day. i keep a bottle ($50) around me at all times

second good one wasw russels reserve. 10 year small batch. cheap at 25 bucks but great taste can be drank neat or on the rocks but neat is best to breing out the rich malty flavors

bakers was a good one as well a little stronger than the RR and a more complex flavor. worth the price at 50 bucks

jack daniels single barrel was a good one to start with and can be found for a few dollars more than the gentelman

eagle rare 17 yo was a great bottle one great flavor and the deapth and complexity of the flavor outweighed all the above in the whiskeys bourbons and scotchs i have tasted.

blantons single barrel was another great quality classic bourbon but me personally i enjoy the more modern flavors

i also wouldnt hesitate to buy a bottle of the woodford reserve. from what i remember it had a nice sweetyness to it, ive heard some taste almonds and marzipan with a little bit of a floral note.

i need to grow my palet to identify the certain flavors but those are the ones that have stood out to me.

these are all whiskey that are shared with freinds and bought to sit on the shelf and use when i really need a quality pickme up... or when i get to the top of a mountain.. you gotta have something good!

for regular drinking and cooking i've had knob, buffalo trace, russels is cheap enough to drink on a reuglar basis, regular jack gets mixed in coke and used for cooking thats about it. or if im on a job and need to get to sleep at night and only buy a small bottle! lol i hate the shit now. takes like garbage! crown is a good mixing/drinking one. havnt tried makers but im gonna pick up a bottle next time i need drunk drinks.

what i want to try is a pappy vaninkle and some of the older 20+ year aged bourbons.

for scotch walker black label was decent however i dont like the iodine peet flavors just not my thing

courvosier xo is some damn good shit!!

Do I need to go to the hood to buy NappyIce or is this something Walmart carries?

You can buy nappyice anywhere, I've even seen it at the dollar store...

Hell, I'm gonna go to all the local yard and garage sales and just steal mine out of the other customers coolers!

And you have to post pics or it never happened

Start with any of these and you can not go wrong "thumbsup"
Bourbon is where my taste are when it comes to whiskey

Just Get a Markers Mark bottle, a glass and some time and just sit back and enjoy. Dont add a thing to the glass. Great bourbon or any other great whiskey should be enjoyed with just a glass. The masters make these to taste just to right way.
