Ladybug invasion

i remodeled an old print shop when i was like 19. like 6 of my close friends all moved in and i lived there for a few year. every year about this time swarms of ladybug would swarm the windows that faced the sun... millions of them. they could turn the room dark.... thats when we got the shop vac out, a case of beer and rolled a doobie. good times:mrgreen:

Did you know that Ladybugs can bite the shit out of you! I found out last year! Feels like a fire ant bite! Cute? Maybe....but I smash the little fawkers now:twisted:

Nope that is an asian beetle that looks very similar to a lady bug. They smell terrible and will swarm people and attack. We have both in our area.

I hate them both. They crawl inside the window frames and come out in the house during the winter. I killed more then 50 in my house one -30 degree jan day.

Ok. It did look just like the normal ones we see all the time. When I told a friend he called BS on me, then he got bit by one:ror: When it happened I was like WTF! Did a Lady bug just bite me:shock: So how do you tell the difference between the two?
