whats your favorite whiskey?

What the hell is Southern Comfort?!?!?! If it is wiskey .... it is the best come on people!!!!! LOL plus its like 19 dollars for like a gallon of liquid gold!!!!!!

Vodka = cirok
tequilla = casodores or patron silver
beer = um, let's face it. anything with hops in it
i guess if SoCo is not considered whiskey then it is all abot JD for the average Joe, however... blue label makes me happy too "thumbsup"

Wild Turkey 8 year old served on a rock. Not rocks, but an ice ball, I don't know if you can get the molds in the States but they're very popular here.

It gets the whiskey cold without watering it too much, less surface area than a whole bunch of cubes, melts slower.

For whiskey and coke, I generally stick to Four Roses, nice smooth taste, and half the price of Wild Turkey 8.

Oh I'll do the 20/20 fo sho.

Dude, $160 a bottle, you should be trying single malt scotches fo reals.

Fo sho. There are so many different tastes it's not hard to find one you like. I love me some Isle of Jura 10 year old

Dont add a thing to the glass. Great bourbon or any other great whiskey should be enjoyed with just a glass. The masters make these to taste just to right way.

Word "thumbsup"

How am I missing so many threads lately....

I missed out on the great Friday night drinkfest too.

I have some Johnny Walker Red here... can't afford the others right now. Also have some Beam for mixing.

There's alot of others listed here I'd like to try. How can you buy that White Dog stuff?

Bourbon is my drink of choice. I am absolutely in love with Evan Williams Bourbon, the cheapest kind you can get. I do not have access to that up here, they just don't sell that much Bourbon in Canada. Any time I go, or someone else goes, I make sure I get some. For attainable Bourbon I go Jim Beam Black, gets the job done, then once in a while I will hit up Ce'st What? bar in downtown Toronto with a few friends and sip a few of their rare Bourbons. Honestly, if anyone can hook me up with a case of the cheap Evan Williams I would be all over it.

I like Crown, Reserve & XR and Pendelton... Makers is good... gotta get me some of that Blue Label... another new favorite of mine is Aha Toro tequila... very nice sippin tequila.

There are two that i highly recommend. Both are kinda local the the pacific northwest. One is Pendleton Whisky and the other is Snake River Stampede. Personally I prefer both to Crown.

This topic is making me thirsty. I think I'm gonna have to go look for some Johnnie Walker on Friday...."thumbsup"

I have, it is good, really good, but this cheaper shniz just really hits the spot. I would like to have an Evan Williams collection to sip and choose from, but again, cannot buy it around here.

im really enjoying buying a new bottle with every paycheck and almost all the time i buy shit thats 25 and up in the 750 size...

i still wish i could share a shot of stranahans with all you whisky drinkers.. i need another bottle!!!

Picked up a JW Red Label to relax after a hell day at work, and just wanted to read a bit about JW and found this interesting statistic:

- Five bottles of Johnnie Walker are consumed every second

Ha! Excellent.

mmmm.... Johnny Walker Red.... I like to add a little Drambuie to mine now and again. Who would think Rusty Nails could be so tasty.
