VARCOR 1st Annunal Poker Run

It's time to put the money on the table and the tires to the rocks. The idea is doing two of my favorite past times together, RC rock crawling and poker. There are two ways to win, best hand and lowest overall score. The "pot" will be split between the two winners.

Registration and Tech: 9:00 AM
Drivers Meeting / Course Review: 9:45 am
Start Time: 10:00 am

Buy-in is: $10.00 per driver

Card deals:
1) 2 cards are dealt when you pay the $10.00 Buy-in.
2) 1 card is dealt at the end of each course. You must see dealer with your score to get your next card dealt.
3) At the end of the comp, it's showdown time.

Payouts:
50% of the pot to the driver with the best hand.
50% of the pot to the driver with the lowest overall score.

Rules:
All USRCCA rules applies. Run what you bought, open to all classes except Supers. This means 2.2 comps and scales; and 1.9 comps and scales run together in the same class.

This will be a 3-course timed event.

Poker will be 5-card stud, no wildcards.

Poker Hand rankings:
1. Royal Flush
2. Straight Flush
3. Four of a kind
4. Full House
5. Flush
6. Straight
7. Three of a Kind
8. Two Pairs
9. Pair
10. High Card

Note: Depending on how many drivers (11 or more drivers), more than one pack of cards will be dealt so a Five of a Kind is possible which beats a Royal Flush.

we should be out there for a few hours. on the average, we've been finishing around 1-2p - depending on how many drivers are out there. if you come down and see a bunch of cars still parked in the small field/parking lot on the side, then we're still there.

That's where I got the idea from, actually it was a poker run on the water first before I organized one with the 1:1...
