right now is a good time to do it in any radioshack! we just got a bulleten that untill close of business sept 30th we can give any lg or samsung phone away for free with 2 year new contract. this includes the high end pda touchscreen phones that normaly sell for about $79+ i figured id pass this along to my fellow drivers esp in these times on not having as much money get a high end phone for free :D

I just switched to ATT from Sprint. Both are about the same signalwise where I go in the US and Canada. For what they charge for cell service it should be much better IMO. BTW I got the Sony Ericsson w760a phone which I'm really liking. Not the greatest phone for a big texter, but I don't text so its fine for me. The walkman and speaker is awsome. Only reason I switched to ATT was I added my mom on my plan to save her some cash and she talks to people with ATT phones.

I switched from Verizon a couple of years ago, for the most part I am happy with AT&T, their service is reliable. They did piss me off two weeks ago, I was getting weird calls, I wanted to block the number and found out it is an additional $5 for that service. With all of the minutes and data services for my phones (wife's and mine) I pay about $160 a month, for that amount I should rate at least one blocked phone number. :x

I've been happy with AT&T's service for a very long time. I do have a few dead spots around this area,of which one dead spot is at my house. Take into consideration I live way out in the sticks out past the other side of BFE. A mile down the road from my house, picks up fine and works awesome.

I wentfrom Sprint to ATT, both good for the money. In my area Verizon wins the call quality, but for the extra $10 and slower 3G in my area, its not even close.

Plus I needed an iPhone to replace my iPod and older flip phone...win win for me.

I've been an AT&T user since the 90's. Never any issues. I'm just slow at upgrading my phone to the newest technology. My current phone is a hand -me-down 3 year old monster brick Nokia E61i.

I don't use my cell much anyway.

You get what you pay for.

I have used almost every cell service out there and can say without a doubt that verizon is by far the best.

Not to mention, if you live in TN, FL, NY, and a few other places... they are release their 4g network from December to Febuary with a full roll out by June of next year.

4g is 3 times faster than full comcast speeds.

Yes, you do pay a little more with verizon, but consider this. In the event of a major act of god... Verizon (as has been proven time and time again) will be there to have you up in running in next to no time at all...

i have verizon but i sell at&t, sprint, nextel, and tmobile i will be switching to tmobile but i figured id try and save some of the guys on here a bit of money and let you know whats going on at your local radioshack.

That right there should tell you all you need to know

I, on the other hand sell, and use Verizon....

lol only reson i use verizon is cause i dont pay for it :D imo verizons phones are not keeping up with other carriers, with them limiting operating systems and apps/updates its really hurting there phones. i will be going to the mytouch so i have full power over my phone and can make it 100% me :D

I was never imprssed with Verizon and neither ar emy family members. Does worse in canada than the Sprint and ATT phones. Verizon really pissed me off when I went to cancel my phone after the 1 year contract was up. They wanted to friggin argue with me, pissed me off.

I travel up and down the Mississippi river on a towboat between St louis ,MO and New orleans, LA. At&t works best out here. Almost always have a signal. Where as when i had sprint or verison i rarely had a signal except when going thru a major city.
It seems like every few trips the signal gets better. I have 3g signal in about 6 or 7 places up the river were last year i had 2.
So for me its AT&T."thumbsup"
