Were do I start, ok I got it I know were god lives now lol. This is one comp I will 4 sure be be back to every year. Let say first off I can see how driving on this every day can improve your skills and help you see lines and make you a better driver. Well not gonna go on and on cause I could on how great this place is Donnie said it best god lives here 4 sure.

Wanna say thanks to Rockcrawler and his family for putting on a great event everything ran super smooth and without a skip. The scaler stuff was insane I could not see a more perfect place and can see how Austin has gonna scaler crazy lol.

Let me say thanks to all the sponsor's for there support with the great give away's you guys make a comp that much better and enjoyable thank you. Would like to give a special thanks to Vanquish Products on a sweet set if SLW's I will be going home with, Nova on another great set of 1.9 foams, and Moo Racing on a can of his grease thank you.

Was great seeing old faces and meeting new ones, like I tell everyone does not matter how bad or good you doing in these comps in the end it's the people and freinds you make in this great hobby that make people like myself drive 12 or 20 hours to get to a comp. can't wait fir the next one.

And last would like to thank the Chilli God lol it was great, have not tasted a chilli sooooo good ever! Thank you.

Just made it in, my ass is tired.

Had a great time meeting new people and putting faces to names. The weather was great and so were the people there.

Big thanks to all the sponsors who stepped up. there were like 50 raffle prizes:shock:

Also glad the chili turned out well I was a little spooked about it cause I never cooked that much at once.

ALSO A BIG THUMBS UP TO ROCKCRAWLER (and Lynsey, she was awesome on the scoresheets)HE PUT ON A BIG SHOW WITH LITTLE TIME IN ADVANCE. He picked up some good event sponsors and spent a lot of his own $ to put this on. I hope with this kind of turn out the ALRC will make this an annual event. Plus him winning the 2.2 class was pretty cool as well. Awesome finals course run"thumbsup"

Wow.....I've got alot of "thanking" to do. First off I guees I should sat thanks to Jeff, Lynsey and HBJ for working out such a great comp for us. Thanks to al of the judges especially Momma Bear for having to stay on the Mountian goat coarse all day long. Thanks to Alabamaman, Playzwithtruxs and Poorboy for trying to help me keep an eye on my lines. Also thanks to Playzwidtruxs for the ride. "thumbsup" A REALLY big thank you to Ted the "chilli-mac" for some really good grub. Thanks to all of the sponsors you really helped make this a good comp. And finally thanks to everybody for coming out, I hope I get to see all you out of state guys again it was great to see so many new people.
I'm sure I forgot some people and I am sorry if I did, but again great job to everybody.

Just got home and wanted to say thanks for the great time and congrats on the win Jeff. It looks like this local event was more like a Southern Region event with 50 plus drivers from Alabama, Georgia, NC, Florida, Texas and I'm sure a few other states in the mix. And the Chili was outstanding. "thumbsup"

Scores in PDF Format can be found here.........

1st through 25th (2.2)

26th through 51st (2.2)

1.9 Class

I think the scaler guys got carried away with having too much fun......I did not get any score sheets from them.:lol: Only got 14 of the 1.9's also.

Guys, I dont even know where to start..........yes I do, I am tired and going to bed. :flipoff: Going to make this quick till tomorrow, but I want to thank EVERYONE that helped with anything to do with the comp today. It makes things go so much smoother when you have guys helping that know what they are doing. I can guarantee that it will be better next year as I will be more prepared.

HUGE THANKS to all the sponsors that helped with the giveaways. We need to make sure these guys are supported. "thumbsup"

Again, I will get myself together a little more tomorrow and post up. I hope everyone had a good time. :-P

For the guys that drove from out of state, thank you very much. This would not have been the same without you guys. Have a safe trip home guys.

And thank you for all the congrats. Not sure how I did it......I think I was asleep most of the time.

Thanks to Rockcrawler and Lynsey.

Thanks to Tedrockz for the awesome chili. I was about to pass out from hunger when I came down from that godforsaken course and ate a bowl of it!

Thanks to all the vendors. Those were a ton of great giveaways. Most of the drivers walked away with something from the raffle.

I will say if I had not had to run my ARSE off all day long on that course judging, I know in my heart I would have been in the finals. All I can say is after this I will be coming out with a vengeance. I'm glad I had good company. Good to see you again Eric113."thumbsup"

THANK YOU ERIC113 AND MOMMABEAR

like I tell everyone does not matter how bad or good you doing in these comps in the end it's the people and freinds you make in this great hobby that make people like myself drive 12 or 20 hours to get to a comp. can't wait fir the next one.

+1, to me this is the best part as well. I love running the trucks and competing against the world's best, but the people are what make it.
Sportsmanship rocks!!!!!!

Jeff and Lynsey, thanks a million. Best comp I have ever been to.

Tedrocks, thanks for the chili, the best I ate all week. I mean all month. Seriously, it was really good.

HBJ thanks for donating the later to be eaten food, although I won't even get to sniff it, much less taste it. Unless Jeff wants to bring that bird out to the next comp and Tedrockz wants to deep fry it. "thumbsup"

to all the vendors - thanks for the many great prizes. "thumbsup"
especially Eddy - thanks for donating the Leopards I got to take home.

special thanks to the Judges for putting up with all the competitiors and course builders.

and a very special thanks to Biscuit and alabamaman for helping me miss that deer on the way home, that booger was close. "thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup"

enjoyed meeting all of you out of town guys too, hope to see you again. Scattman, I am lookin' forward to crawl'n with you again the next time I visit my parents.

btw, does N E body know who that guy was on the finals course screaming and blocking everyone's view? Was he comping or just one of those guys who is somewhere and sees something going on and has to be in the middle of it? did he really need to get that close to see?

and on that note, I am out!

Guys I had a great time and can't wait to do it again.
The Finals course was rockin"thumbsup"
Hell I liked all the courses even the Looooooooong one.

I wish I would have stayed around to claim my 1.9 prize but I had no clue I won.Like I was telling Rooster earlier in the day I like 1.9 because I just run ,have fun and do not get all serious about it and sometimes you get lucky.I guess my win shows proof of that.:)

Having everyone together reminded me of the old SERCRC and how much fun it was and then throw in some out of town guys and it just made it better"thumbsup"I wish we could go back to those days.

I would like to thank everyone involved in getting this together.Jeff and his wife,Steve for cooking, and the judges.I also want to thank all the vendors that chipped in for the raffle.

I also would like to give a big thanks to all the guys in my Sig. line for helping make it possible for me to attend and compete.
