Can this be used on other servos like taking all the internals out of a regular servo and then putting it into the waterproof servo case?

Why not spend that money to buy water proofing supplies ?

Like... some grease & Plasti Dip Spray ?

I think that would be a better solution.

I don't know. i guess it does make more sense to do it that way. I was just wondering.

Ok so I'm gunna do it myself but I need your opinion on which is better

And the grease can it be gotten at home depot or lowes or Ace/

Get dielectric grease, open up the servo case and put it in there around the openings, problem solved.

You know I h2o proofed a servo and it still holds up today after 9 months.
Rtv silicon, electrical grease, and thick bearing grease.
Take the case apart, line a thin bead of rtv on the edges of the case. Grease the servo output splined shaft and the case around it well. Smear electrical grease ontop of the breadboard and bottom. Put it back together. The teeth on the screws get a dab of heavy grease and the shaft before the head D) get rtv. Tighten down but not all they way! Let it sit for an hour and then tighten down all the way.
By letting it dry some before tightening, your creating a gasket around it. If it's tightened all the way before hand you can squeeze it all out and leave a spot not sealed completely.
Rtv in a packet at autozone- 99 cents
Bearing grease in a packet- 1.09
Electrical grease in yet agian the same packet- 99 cents.
Go grab your supplies and have some wet weather fun!

Yeha I already put the grease in it and just need to do the plati dip.

I already have the xl-5 watreproof esc in my axial ax-10 and the rest of it is waterprof. and both my servos will be soon when I get back from Home Depot.."thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup"
