Some have asked about my belly heights so I thought I would post up some with a tape measure next to the chassis.

At the front 2 7/8"
At the back 3 1/4"
At the arch of the link 3 5/8

Sorry guys I let this die out while I finished it on friday for the nw qualifier in goldendale on friday.

I tested it on Saturday might have been a fluke but I broke it after falling about 8 ft off a rock.

I have been talking with John since it broke on Saturday and might be that custom skid plate putting to much stress on the chassis.

Looks like it hit just right for the chassis to snap where it did like that. Any way that's a bummer!

Shitty thing had 3 more courses to run zip tied it up the best I could and limped as far as I could on all the last 3 courses.

Ya, I'm leaning towards the 8' being the issue.. :ror: That's almost a 1/2" wide piece of .125" thick delrin you snapped there.. Now that I see it in a larger picture though I can see it probably started at the chassis support hole. I'll rework that area and get you a new set of plates ASAP "thumbsup"

and do something about that wiring!!

I'm of the opinion that the several kilos of wire snapped the plate. Based on that photo, I can see that at least 20lbs of wire is anchored directly to the point of failure.

John sent me a replacement side got it in time for our comp today. It survived today.

On my way home from the comp stopped and dropped my rig off at one of my club members house AKA (jeeper_05) for some machine work. I left the rig there with in 30 mins had picture in a text from him with this done already.

Updates for tonight came in. Should be ready to be picked up in a couple days.

Yes my old servo horn went through some abuse. Have a new one ready for it. Plus the front screw is going bye.

I have had these for awhile just never installed them (jeeper_05) machined the rear axle for them.
