Time for a rebuild with a new prototype Fubar Chassis.

I pick up my rig tonight from Jeeper_05. I got to work getting the steering reset up using my original Fubar Crawlers OTA steering link Just replaced the ends to T-maxx ends and bent it a little more.

Now to try to clean up the wiring and go through the rest to get it ready for Nats.

Nice! Now tear the axle back down and move the upper link mount back to it's original location... :ror:

I was looking at my rig and seen it was not centered on the links so I pulled the upper link screw to find this. Both screws were bent.

I never really noticed before. Those screws have been in this rig since it was built 3 years ago. I do zero maintenance on the rig between comps. Until I installed the super 300 it was still running the stock bearings.

If it is not broke then no need to work on it. It gets cleaned and lubed when I get a chance. I beat on it at comps I have a heavy trigger finger. So for 3 years on those screws is alot. They have gone through 3 seasons of comps in our club, awcc, worlds, apnwq, pnw qualifier.

I picked up a new upper link mount screw just need to cut it down to the right size. I also did some modding to my Losi shocks. I drilled my pivot balls to take a 3mm screw so I can flip them up side down. I also cleaned them and re oiled the. I also installed some losi MLST springs on them so when I turn the tires won't hit the springs. They hit the nuts just a little bit.

I also cleaned up the wiring the best I can do. Since I hate cutting up the original wire on the electronics parts.

you have all that room on the front lowers to slide that battery forward and lower the rest of your chit and you still have it plastered up high...

I know he's been trying to get everything gathered for NATS and don't think he wants to change anything befor he goes.

True DAT!! If it's working now don't fawk with it!!! Pleanty of time for cleanup later...

Yeah right now it is working good and nats is around the corner. I don't want to get there and have problems or issues. I will be cleaning things up after nats.

Today I made a battery mount out of ABS for my cheap battery pack elite 2200 3s. I drilled and tapped 2 3mm screws in to the skid plate to hold it in place. I also heated it up and put a bend in it to clear the lower front links.
