Futaba 4PL Setup, Tips, Tricks & Help

Just got my radio back from Futaba.

The update is perfect!

They did exactly as I asked without compromise. The update is available immediately and I will have all the info up on how to get around noon today. All new production models will now include the update from the factory.

Models with the serial number starting with "B010" are the only models that need updating.

Great news! I was just about to pull the trigger last night, but checked back in here and decided to wait.

So now I need to figure out how to get the right serial number.

So can we send them in right now to get updated or is there special directions to send it in for the update?

So we'll be seeing a write up on how the 3 and 4th channels function without the mixes for all us non compers out there"thumbsup"

Steven,
I would go ahead and get one. They are re-printing the manual and are just starting production of the new radios. It could be a couple months before they arrive.
Get it and send it in and have it before Christmas "thumbsup"

Hello,

can i have a momentary dig on one of these switches (photo below) in the way that pushing forward means front dig and pushing backwards means rear dig (2 ESC's) and have a switch for proportional dig on the other one (for example top switch for prop. dig lower switch for "standard" dig)?

...that is on my wish list for my "perfect" crawling radio. If the PL can do, it's mine.

Greetings Frank
