I have to admit,I didnt,and still dont like the idea of it being 100% mandatory.
But the one who brought it up( soco crawlgirl I think) deserves some credit I think.
she suggested a test,and it is a great idea,it will benifite every club,and the hobby as a whole. IMO

But as an event organizer, I absolutely love it as a teaching tool. It helps us all improve on areas we lack. Besides, would you rather be judged by someone who scored a 20% or a 85% :mrgreen:

I have learned a good amount in this process so far. with the "new" test I have taken it 6 times now. I got 94, 95, 100, 100, 98 (put bullet in wrong answer trying to speed test, but knew answer) and 100
I can not wait for more questions and for the ability to have our local club members take it "thumbsup"

I don't think it will be mandatory, this will be an invaluable tool for all of us, every club,and yes the hobby as well, what i predict happening is if the people out there and some will do this but i see people taking the test (unadministerd) from fish/jason/badger/tom/parker or any one of the rules commitee members, and using it to throw in peoples faces at comps, i myself have already been clowned for even bringin up this idea, but some comps that we go to you stand back and watch how inconsistently the judging is across the board, not from judge to judge but from club to club as well!
I thank fish/Ricky/jason/Badger/Parker/Tom and whom else i'm forgetting for their time/effort they put in every day for this sport!

Is the test up and running on here yet and if so where is it? Fish had sent me a link to a test a few weeks back but it wasn't on here. Would like to take it and brush up a little "thumbsup"

DpdSurf got the ball rolling and found some on-line testing software. DpdSurf, Twisted Creations, and I wrote 95% of the questions (Why TC gets 100's
) With Sven, Nicklepimp, and Rocked Up Ricky also giving creative input.I managed the process to get the test created, tested, and eventually implemented.
Last but not least Jason & Badger for stepping up, and purchasing the software that allows this to happen!

A driver is attempting a vertical climb on gate 6 with zero points thus far. During this time, the vehicle is starting to slip backwards without the tires changing directions. The driver is unfortunate as the vehicle has rolled over when the truck got to the bottom of the climb . The driver wiggles the truck around, and is unable to correct the vehicle then performs a legal rollover recovery. At this time, how many points does the driver have?
A. 1 B. 5 (correct answer) C. 6 (your answer) D. 11
The wiggle is irrelevant (steering only or forward/reverse) since the wiggle occurred while upside down in the rollover position. The only penalty in the scenario was the actual rollover recovery = 5pts

I made note of the same reverses on "the gate" waiting for a question. I answered true thinking there was truly some good crawling in the video and was marked as correct.
I think that is just testing out the test software's capabilities and not an actual test?
