Ive been listening to the song for the past 4 months .... it grows old but the lyrics are good.

Theres actually two different versions out there ....

He came to 106.9 WCCC in Hartford and performed it live for his first time. He didnt like one of his riffs so he redid it, hit the studio with it then came back to my local station to redo it.

95% of todays "Country" music sucks goat ass and isnt even stuff I would classify as "country". Its more pop than anything. Shits garbage.

it not supposed to be "country" YA Jackwagon, the name of the song is country boy, and he's tellin ya who he is and what he stands for!
the song and aaron lewis and staind are a very talented group and this song is a 10 IMO and for standing up and not being afraid to show your roots he get's a 10, everyone looks at tatted up rockers as they're so hardcore that you can't even talk to em, well this song show's that "you know i'm just a regular guy" who's a country boy at heart!
