frozen lens :ror:

I was out driving last weekend, and after a break in the 1:1 dodge ram charger my honcho was frozen and couldent move.

2 minutes over 5 candles and my honcho was literally steaming and running again

Its not mutch fun running in sub zero temperatures, but i just had to dirty up my new Dick Cepek wheels up to match the DC tires i allso have.

my camper van works best in -20°C , anything more than 0 it will overheat. so its pretty much a winter car. .. it was still going in -32°C but i had to stop for frozen fingers and toes.

there was one problem, glue in diffs got unglued because of the cold.

testing new steering and speed with 23/55 gears. turns too much and pump steers, which is causing dogbone problems.
im going to do a new spur, something around 80t might be ok with the small 11t pinion. also now i have to start all over with the steering...

12/82 gears

new 82T spur from kyosho ultima, pinion is 12T from asso. 82T is the biggest possible, there is now less than 1mm space between the spur and the driveshaft.
car is starting to be ok for backyard fun, but needs a bigger motor. there is no low end torque and the car jumps the rocks instead of crawling over. also the rear diff lock is slipping badly, needs more pattex.
