So, tried to get a hold of the guy that does this chroming on all sorts of materials. Took me three phone calls before I got hold of him, then he said sure, I'll pick up the delrin on Monday from you to test. Haven't heard from him again. I might try again, seems like a nice enough guy, but if he's this unreliable I don't think I'd trust him with sending in my own rings, much less others. Sorry about that guys.

K-44's are too narrow. Sadly, the front shocks and tires bind and will need some wideners. So I tried a set of axial axles, made a set of links with the mounts you made. They surely fit and drive very nice."thumbsup"

Thanks Chris! Mounted electronics box and A123 Li-Fe PO4, under the hood. Did a scale fuel tank and flooring, ass well.



I like the RC4WD K-44, and am just waiting on the RC4WD mini wheel wideners and check how tough these axles are.

I honestly do not know who makes those Liberty bodies, and embarrassingly admit that I have never seen a Newbright. The Jeep Liberty is not too popular here, as well.

The body was from a newbright they are very hard to come by in that scale.

Here's a aluminum sheet version, I am trying-out to gt those curves on the side. Needs a grille and more trimmings, though.

Oh yeah, been working on this project for a while now. Team3Six seats like all his other scale stuff are the COOLEST!

Cut some lexan panels then had more fun creating bucket seats.

Old hood - styrene


New Hood - aluminum sheet.

Cut and painted a set of lexan panels and steering wheel mount, as well.

Painted the chassis and new panels, to match 1:1.
The build was quite challenging and I do enjoy much every minute.

Thanks Guys! Panels are easy. Have them in Lexan and ABS. Might just do one in aluminum to balance the color shade."thumbsup"

K-44 have a narrow track width and the lower shock mounting position are just right for the High Lift.Here's how I installed the lower links and the shocks.



Also, Thanks to Rokcrawlr for the set of RC4WD Mini Wideners. Fits perfect and provides just the right track width so that the 2.2 Rok Lox don't hit the chassis/Links for a real nice steering angle and bind-free during articulation, as well. "thumbsup"

Worked on the Headlights
