Well we will have to disagree on that one,the rich pay a higher % of taxes.
The rich are the ones who provide jobs for the middle and lower class.
The rich also have the most % of disposable income, which is the driver of many buisnesses that employ aswell.
I think the best way to boost the economy is to make it easier for thise with the disposable income to put it to work.
Of course the rich provide jobs. How many poor people do you know with multi billion dollar companies? :ror:
The rich do have a higher disposable income, but a lot of people with less money will spread it further and wider.
Giving the corporations money to expand their businesses and make jobs in kind of putting the cart before the horse. Trust me, those people have plenty of money to grow. What they lack is a demand for their goods/services. Giving them money will not magically create a demand.
The basic and natural theory behind capitalism is that the strong will survive. If you have a good product, people will buy it, you will make money, you stay in business, and you will succeed in the business world. Your success depends on the demand for what you provide. Today, that demand has been replaced by payoffs, handouts, shady backhanded deals and flat out corruption. Yesterdays bottomfeeders are todays survivors. I do not want any of my tax dollars going to them.
That employes more people and gets them off welfare/unemployment,ect.
Redistrubution is nothing more than theft IMO
or legal extorsion.
Redistribution is a resetting of the system. Eventually more and more money is going to find its way to the top. These big corporations are no more likely to want to pay their workers more money than they are to pay more taxes. Its all about their shareholders and their bottom line.
And just why is it unfair in your opinion for those who made the right choiced
to be able to "hold" thier proffits?
I do congratulate those who have made it to the top. At the same time I question their ethics. Some got there honestly, some did not.
I should also point out that when I refer to "the rich", I'm not talking about anyone that you or I personally know. I'm talking about the uber rich. People who can buy and sell millions of dollars a day and not break a sweat.
Our economy grows when those people make that money "work" for them
which puts us all to work.
Give it all away to the poor, and the money will be spent, not put others to work.
Yes, the poor will spend money. They will buy things. They will give it to banks and mortgage lenders and car companies and health insurance companies and all kinds of corporations that are too numerous to list. That, in turn, will create demand for products and services. And that will create the need for jobs.
By principle alon,its thier money.
If a person has alot of land, would you think its ok to take that land by force to "redistribut" to the poor?
If that land owner has taken it all for himself while everyone else around him is falling to ruins, yes.
It used to be that you could only "own" land that you were able to physically work yourself. This gave everyone a shot at being a land owner and being self sufficient. Not so much anymore.
