Losi Mini Crawler drivetrain problem

I have spent all Easter trying to solve this problem-
my Losi mini crawler's front R/H wheel will not engage under load.It will run and rotate fine when held in my hand.I have pulled the front transmission apart,checked it,checked the dogbone/driveshaft,replaced the 12mm hexes,switched the L/H shaft to the R/H side and still have the same problem!The crawler has had very little use and never driven hard.Any thoughts on this or do I just replace the whole front axle unit?

It sounds like you have destroyed the spool inside the differential. If it is still the stock piece, they are made of plastic and fairly weak.

Thanks for taking the time to reply-I am pulling it apart as we speak and your diagnosis appears to be 100% correct! I don't use it very much but weeks of rain has driven me indoors.
