Do the bar graphs in the display represent exactly what you are experiencing?
Yes they do.
My "guess" is that if you buy from Tower Hobbies, etc (now) you will get an updated unit.I read the link about some 4PL's needing to be sent in for updating. Should most of the 4PL's form the larger dealers (eg. Tower Hobbies) be current?
I was planning on buying one in the next 2-3 weeks, but I do not want to have to buy one only to have to send it in for an update.
ok so i got my 4PL for christmas and it has worked fine since then till today when i tryed to run it
when i got it it was the old software and i sent it in to get the new programing got it back and it ran fine
i got a new reciver and it wont bind to the radio, i can plug it in and the red light blings and keeps blinging
and then now today i plugged in my battery and the throttle twitched and i unplugged it
then i plugged it back in and i did the same thing and i unplugged it again and then plugged it in again and nothing happend the esc (castle sct sw)
what are your suggestions
no the one i got with the radio is the high power and the new one is the low power on

Cool, I should be getting one soon then! Most of the major places will have current units. "thumbsup"
Two attempts at that...No good.Reset you model and reprogram is going to be the quickest way to fix this problem honestly. You have something in there you have adjusted and I can't think of what it might be right now.
Then you need to change the RX type to the S-FHSS type in the radio menu is all "thumbsup"
edit: dam, Harley is fast...
But, then why does the one I got with the radio not work, not even light up
So, I got my 4PL today and bound my receivers to it, set up 3 different models, adjusted all buttons for what I wanted them to do, drove my Range Rover, and now I'm going to bed......
So freakin' easy a caveman can do it!
Thanks for the videos and info Harley, it was very helpful.
Badass radio, I would and will recommend it to anyone.
