Cadillac unviels new Ciel concept

I just threw up in my mouth a little. I like some caddy designs, but this one, no thanks. To each their own.

Reminds me of the recent retro attempt from Ford of the Thunderbird, with a Caddy front end.

"French doors"?? I thought we called that a suicide door?

To be suicide doors the front would have to open opposite, like the rear door does. Hinge on the rear of the door not the front.

I like it! That is a bad ass car!

Here is a "French Door" on a house:

See the similarity?

my only dislike is the fact that a glance from the side, it would look like Ford's new mistake of the old Thunderbird .... that $40K POS they bombed on a few years ago.

front or back, gangstah. nice interior too...

its like what a supervillain's car ought to be.

I agree, except for the hybrid. Can you imagine a super villian pulling away in an eco friendly V6?

Atleast he'll get eco-friendly prison credits for a reduced sentance.:ror:

I agree tho, a killer american muscle big block with "twin" superchargers or turbo's would really set that car apart from the Germans. (heckk, drop in the ZR1 powerplant with a few Caddi tweeks to make it look official and spank the AMG & M-what ever devision on the N-ring.)"thumbsup"

(funny how we get bashed for having insanely big engine power plants and then tell us we're wussies for going eco.)

Bleh.. I'm sure like many of their others if it makes it to production it will be a complete puke. Thinking Chevy Volt concept vs production

I really like it. It's got a mean stance and wide profile. The rear "cabinet" or "suicide" door is pretty trick as well. I LOVE those headlights though how they run up and front end just making the car look that much wider. I like the TT-V6, but the electric has to go. Don't half-ass the eco thing like a Prius. It's got 425hp... USE IT!

Not all hybrids are a prius. The yukon hybrid has some pretty good get up and go to it. Although the torque from an electric motor can be great you are right, the sound of a big v8 is part of the exlerience.
