took this rig out crawlin with my friends new wraith...... i got to say for i rig i just threw together in a few hours with random parts and being on 1.9's this thing crawls like a MOFO thanks to pit bull tires :mrgreen:

The really cool thing about these is that I find them to work better when they're wet! The things these tires get through continues to amaze me.

Got a chance to try out my 1.9 Pitbulls at Shaver Lake CA. These tires are awesome, they grip like crazy on the granite! They are draining the lake which exposed some great formations. If you live anywhere near, you gotta check it out."thumbsup"

As for the 1.9s these things were worth more then tsl anyways in performance, Though word of advice to much torque and not enough slipper you might do what I did and broke 3 - 4 links, we were runing on soft dirt then into rocks and it grabbed EVERYTHING, as for the 2.2s I put them on my 2.2 sportsman and had to put 2 spaces per rim on my vanquish rims to get them to fit right but they performed way better then my Rovers so "thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup" great product.

Last scale run we went out and two of the guys had pitbulls and I had tsl's.The pitbulls didn't impree me at all.My tsl's wentjust a little bit further.Maybe better with a little wear.

You do realize trying it on different rigs isn't a good comparison. They have to be used on the same rig for a true comparison. ;-)

Many of us have both and can attest the the performance gain over the TSL. "thumbsup"

I was running with amatuer33 on the trail run . The jeep scaler I run tsl tires on where switched out for the pit bull tires. Ran them for couple hours on the trail run. The pit bulls did not work well on the trail run. The tires didn't have forward bite like my tsl have on the same jeep. I am going to try different foam set up hope it works.

Only time I've ever had my pit bulls not bite was crawling slowly through clay heavy mud. The lugs would pack and become slicks. Not a problem really because a little blip of throttle and they quickly cleared.

Both the TSl's and PitBulls are great tires. Both exact replicas of the real tires. No denying that. I personally like the taller and wider PitBulls. You know they're good tires when no one starts a thread saying " I flipped my TSL/PitBulls inside out and shaved the rib off or I cut every other lug off" and now they seem to work better. Only trying to kid yourself into thinking your rock hard $50 investment in tires is working better.

My pit bulls pull out easy. If I can get the pit bulls work out for me. I will get a different set of rims.

Go to Lowes or Home Depot & buy a 2ft stick of 2" O.D PVC (3.99). Cut the PVC the same width as the stock rings supplied with the RC4WD Steelies. (I think its 3/4" I could be wrong). I haven't had a problem with pullin a bead yet. The trick is to massage to bead in-between the rim and the ring as you are tightening the lugs on the wheel.

My pit bulls pull out easy. If I can get the pit bulls work out for me. I will get a different set of rims.

Even on steelies I havent had a problem. You just gotta massage em to keep the bead in place."thumbsup"
