race is not an issue with the majority of voters of either party,thats a good thing.

No, but considering our history of nothing but white men running the country, it is an interesting fact.
When Obama was elected, he got so much hate from people, simply for the fact that he was black (among other things/lies). Now the right has a contender who also happens to be black. If Cain gets elected, I wonder how all those nutjobs will feel? Surely there will be a double standard if it happens.
Honestly, it's just cool to me. When I was growing up, I really never thought we as a country would have a black president. I witnessed so much racial bias growing up I thought I'd never see the day.

I HAVE TO SAY THAT AFTER WATCHING THESE DEBATES AND LISTENING TO ALL RUNNING, (INCLUDING OBUMMER) MR. CAIN HAS MORE TO SAY THAN THE REST AND IS THE MOST PRACTICLE IN HIS ANSWERS BY FAR, I ALSO AGREE WITH MUCH OF WHAT GENGRICH HAS TO SAY BUT HE HAS TO MUCH BAGGAGE THAT IS HURTING HIM.
I have been behind him from the beginning.
First off, like said, he understands business and most crucially complex budgets.
He also has clearly laid out plans, all of the others are missing that component.
He isn't a politician, we have enough of those.
He isn't a lawyer, we have enough of those. In fact one of the key issues I have with our system is that is is set by lawyers to benefit lawyers even if all else fails. Follow the money trails, they always take you to the lawyers.
He speaks plainly and bluntly. He isn't scared of confrontation.
As for the 999 666 thing, that is just retarded. I am a Christian and it bothers me not one bit. In fact, I find more non-Christians make issue of 666 than Christians do. As for the black thing, I could care less. I want someone who is going to work on fixing the issues instead of laying blame constantly.
I like how Herman speaks from the heart and doesn't constantly worry about what his handlers or other political pundits say is the right move. I like how he won the Florida straw pole by getting to the people, not running adds.
We need strong leadership which he has proven in his tenure at Coca-Cola, The Federal Reserve in Kansas City, and Godfather's Pizza.

His tax plan has merit, you shift the taxes to consumtion vs taxes every dime I make and then some. Should I choose to save my money instead of spend it I can and do so without tax. It might make Americans save instead of spend spend spend. The problem I see is the potential for abuse. Spending goes down but they still need money so raise the tax, kind of llike they do now.
As for his being president... I see him more as a VP, someone behind the scenes making things happen vs being the front man. When it comes down to it, the pres is nothing more than a figure head that tries to steer the politics. His business sense is what the country needs but, I dont see it being what gets him voted in. However, him being the republican candidate might be enough to sway the "Black vote" (quoting fox news here) away from Obama.
