Coleworx Moonrover, Class 3

I am taking a bit of a break from building after the mad rush to get 3 rigs done for MSD this year....This one is high on the list when I start building again.

Show us some of your tubers, always cool to see more southern style buggys.

Holy moly, Devlin...and Chris! How did I miss this build? I would've begged for you to bring it to Montana so I could drool over it.

The Tuba. Love it!

All the more reason to go next year Tommy.

This is one of those builds that'll take a while. The end result in Devlin's hands will be good though "thumbsup"

Count on it! I definitely want to go back! I bet Devlin's going to have arthritis in his hands after assembling this bad boy. :ror:

Well hopefully Devlin will be sending it to me to do up the interior work. Gotta make it look like the 1:1

I bet he would do a trade for a certain teenycar.... lol

Is that how it works now Norm? I just send my builds to you for interiors....thanks

You guys have got me all excited.... The gears are turning ...

Dang it Dan, now I have to go buy silver solder:ror:

Norm , you bet you will be helping me on the interior and details...I need to give you a run for your money in concourse:mrgreen: but you aint getting the trophy if the rig earns it:flipoff:

Chris, I will be bugging you on the technic so as not to melt the brass before the silver.....I fubared a set of brass light buckets trying to braze them to the rectangle( I didnt realize they were brass until they melted before I added the brass filler rod) HEAT CONTROL.....Does not mean cherry red, doh

Tommy, lets not go down the road of drooling on my Tuba......:lmao:You know how I am about moisture control in that area:mrgreen:

Thanks David ????? if not, thanks hung

No problem, you've got my number "thumbsup" When buying the silver solder, get the highest silver content possible. 45 at least, 56% is even better. That way it melts at the lowest temperature possible.

Yeah, cherry red isn't best with brass, especially when brass can be used as a filler material :ror:

Thanks George,it wont look a lot different. Adding lights and small details. I want this truck(the vuck) to be clean and simple... not going to chase the points on it.

Matter of fact the rover will be the same, clean.simple, down to business no nonsense type rig.

I did just order some highland crawler no slop lockers for it, they should be here soon. I think Ana's axles are going to go under it for now.
