A tamiya monster beetle when i got married, haha i bought it with some of the wedding money we got. that was in 1984. like a hundred yrs ago.

I got a summer job a few years ago and decided at the end of the summer I would use the money I saved up to by a rc. It was between a slash 2wd and a wheely king. I decided on the wheely king and the crawler conversion kit. My parents were pissed I spent all my money on some stupid toy :P they said ill spend all my money fixing it when it breaks. I assured them that it's a hobby grade rc so it won't break. Then proceeded in breaking 3 dog bones with in 15 min of telling them that.

That really stinks...

My first was a Tamiya Blackfoot. I bought it used form the local Hobby Shop, that was also a speed shop for Hot Rods. I even raced it at thier dirt track. Great memories.:)

I had an rc10 gold pan and a bunch of parts I bought off an older kid when I was about 10 years old. Didn't know what I had, and didn't know how to fix it when the ESC caught fire. Think I sold it in a garage sale. If I'd only known...

Tamiya Boomerang back in the mid 80s. My buddy had a Frog. I think we were 7 years old then.

My first was the old Tamiya grasshopper in the late 80's... And the upgrade bug hit me fast as an Indy car. Oil shocks, esc open endbell"stock" greencan motor, the 15 minute quick charger.... OMG, the days of old NiCad batteries, I wish I sttill had that thing today, like most of us wish we still had our first RC cars and trucks

Mine was a Tamiya TT01. My brother, best mate, and I bought 1 each and the three of us sat at my mate's after him and I of us had finished our final exams and built them all. This was the end of 2007 and I have been going strong ever since.

Mine was a HPI rs4 mt. My buddy and I each got one I probably burned up 7 motors in that thing

My first RC was a 1/8 aluminum gas buggy my uncle gave me in 1980. I still don't know who made it but it was crazy fun and fast! It was one of those deals that it had to stay at his house and I could play with it when i was over there which was a lot! After that I had a Lunchbox! And shortly after that I picked up a gold pan buggy! Then I get big into pan cars for a while. Now I have one of just about everything, lol!
