MTHead's "CLTHATF" TC3 Rally...

Haha sorry I should have specified, a light sway bar. But Turtle's explanation helps and makes sense!

:ror::ror: It's all relative...

u guys are nuts, but motivating!
time to dig out my old HPI rallye.

Ya, there is a lot of dusting off going on in these threads.. "thumbsup"

Got the NTC3 steering conversion done..

Things are tight but more freely to the stops..

Didn't use the measurement for the servo relocation, just pushed it all the way back to straighten out the link and made sure I had enough room for the receiver.

Just wanting on a body to see what I'm doing with the 200mm conversion and wheel choice..

I'm loving these tires though, came from Korea..

Great conversion there! And those rally tires look sweet! Can't wait to hear how they work! And I just looked at my TC4 - seems to be missing more things than I remember, however I did find a complete TL-01 from Tamiya ... might work on that!

:ror::ror: Still can't find a lot of my original stuff either, it's hear somewhere..

So I took out the CS170, figured I'd save it for a scaler, threw in a CS150 just to find out I have no arms that fit it (Futaba), pulled that out and put in a 625, come to find out it had a dead board.. Back to the CS150 and 3 local hobby stores later not being able to find Futaba arms, I ordered up a Savox servo, figured WTF had to order Futaba arms anyway..

:ror:

Got the TB01 chassis cover, not a bad fit but I had to open it up for the spur and heat sink. I'll find a little plastic box to drop over the top of that area and we'll be good to go..

I'll make up a little cover to drop over the steering rods here.

Just waiting on the new servo and body now.. "thumbsup"

I'm going to order one of those overtrays from Team Blue Groove, when he get back in town:roll:. Could you have heated it to get your clearances? Or was it not that close?

Ya, no shit, I had to wait to order this one and now they are gone again, we're in the wrong business.. :ror:

Probably could have but I wanted a bit more air space around the heat sink.. It's tight front to back so if you bubble it out be careful you don't deform it to much..

This is cool to see. I love rally car builds. "thumbsup"

I need to order some nitro diffs for my 4Tec so I can beef up the drivetrain and possibly go brushless. Although, I am completely happy with the Holmes Handwound 21T on 3S. It's got more power and speed than I can control. :ror:

Man, this sucks, you guys dropped this thread an I'm waiting on a brushless Tb01 with a cc sidewinder Sct esc... Should be sweet! I'm ready for some speed, once in a while anyway! I got my son a mini Sct for Easter an decided I needed something to go play with him with.. the creeper an scx-10 is too slow an I'm just getting the wraith were I would want it, but I'm not really a huge fan of it.. maybe if it was brushless but I'm goin to save my money for the Tb01..

as far as wheel/tire options has anyone tried the losi mini 8 rolling stock..they have them at the lhs dirt cheap and i'm intrigued on building one of these
