i use a duffle bag for all my tools, batteries,batt charger etc then i just carry my crawler with the other hand.

i bought a nice tool box a THD that has a tool box on top were my tool for setting up a car and transmitter are. middle is where i keep battery charger batteries, and spare tuning parts/ spare parts. put my crawler and touring car in the bottom with some room for some paper towels.

i have been a fan of using the fishing tackle box when i had my touring cars and trucks, i had one that i cut the top deviders out of and put the charger and batteries in along with the extra foam tires and controler and leave the bottom thick compartment out and stuff the rc there, something like this one(see picture) always served me well or just a rubber maid tote i would make frame with wheels and a handle to pull it, way easyer than lugging over things

I and some of my fellow comper's in Australia use Stanley Fatmax Mobile Tool Chest's also knowen as Fatmax Truck boxes. I can carry 3 comp rigs wheels off the rigs. A Pro, a Sportsman and a Comp Scaler, my radio gear, tools, spares and my lunch and wheels for all 3 rigs and still have space left over. I use velcro in the lid to hold my battery packs. The tool boxes full are heavy but is easy to wheel the boxes over rough terrain to the comp locations. Pictures below lifted off Google
I found this US site that stocks the boxes, but i asume depending where you are you could find them locally. As part numer and description provided on site.

Bunnings. All the local stores in Western Sydney have stock currently. I can find out the fine line from bunning for you, if you have it you can order them at the "special orders counter" and i believe you can get them transfered from other stores.

My 2.2 Bully just fits the bottom wheels on, TX next to it on one side, 12 volt 7AH Gelcell (portable power) on the other side, spare wheels/tires on one end, 1.9 on top of 2.2, tools in tray, small parts in lid storage. The top of the box is a mobile worktable.
A couple of others in our club use them as well. They are ~$55US depending on where you find them.

I transport my rigs with anything I have lol. If I have to hoof it to get to a spot I don't like rollers as they tend to get bogged down very easily on a rough trail. I keep things as mobile as possible.
Tools/bateries go in an old padded PC tablet bag inside has 3 compartments lipos on the left side, tools in the center, extra parts on the right. For my back pack my comp rig straps on with a couple of carabiners around the front axle. Inside my back pack is my charger and TX's wrapped in T-shirts lol. Scale rigs since the body is more fragile go in one of those large vinyl/canvas type shopping bags with just enough room for the carrying straps to wrap around the front end of the rig (I roll the rig into the bag backwards).

I use a wingtote bag to car my rig for travel and tool's, supply's, charge and every thing go's in ofna bag with my radio and any thing you might think of...

I have used it for Short Course, 1/8th Scale Buggy, and Crawlers. You can fit multiple vehicles and extra parts. I typically place my extra parts storage containers on the bottom and place my vehicles on top. I have also used it for transporting ammo to and from the range, and have purchased a 2nd one to hold all of my mountain bike gear.

Like what you guys are coming up with. All the wheeled totes I have found locally seem to be a little too large for my liking. I think something more like an oversized tool box is going to be best. Living on an island makes it hard to find things sometimes...
