KC's commemorative build (ACTION PICS!)

Re: KC's commemorative build

Input...I love the paintjob! but...is there any way you could integrate a rotor graffic somewhere in there? On the hood? On top of the cab? I've been staring at this for half an hour and I can't think of how to do it. That's my only thought. Maybe this on the hood? Just a thought...

Lol on the nose of the A/C there is the a/c number and our squadron logo so that will go there. Maybe somethin on the roof. But don't wanna ?over? Do it...

Here's a shot of the nose.

Re: KC's commemorative build

Awesome build pics as usual. I like the squadron logo. That should definitely go on the hood! And a small "don't tread on me" serpent on the back window. You don't necessarily need the text. But a black graphic. I think that would be killer as well. Just the imagery is nice and would balance out the graffic on the hood if you go that direction. Don't feel pressured by my suggestions...It's easier working on your build than it is on mine!!!!:lmao:

Re: KC's commemorative build

also switched to an internally sprung axial shock. running about a 50/50 droop. utilizing bump stops to keep the tires out of the fenders.
IMG_20120207_173458.jpg

i took the short upper soft springs from the stock shocks and transfered them to the rear touring car shocks to make them a bit softer.
IMG_20120207_173431.jpg

after all this i was still able to maintain a good ride height.
IMG_20120207_173625.jpg

IMG_20120207_173549.jpg

i still have all the old components so if i wanna switch back to a full sprung front i can. ill just have to do some testing to see what works better with this rig.

Re: KC's commemorative build

"thumbsup" Looks like some tight quarters in the clearance dept. Interested to see how the test run goes!
