We are at least a week behind schedule on the closed cell inners (which was already a week behind:evil
, they fixed the machine that broke last week this morning. A photo was sent to me this afternoon of box full of completed inner foams. So I expect the new design inners to be in stock later this week.
However, I will only have outers for the 5.5 and 6.0 Double Deuce for now.
The new 1.9 outers, new 5.0 & 5.25 outers, and the new Super outers won't be ready until later this month.
Everything is taking longer than I expected, but it will be a much easier system to tune. It will be worth the wait.

I agree with you that the International shipping prices are ridiculous. Especially on items weighing so little
:evil:.
I am very sorry about the new International Shipping prices. It is out of my control and it came about for two reasons.
1. - USPS Changed there software without warning in 2012.
In their wisdom for the new year, the USPS decided it best to modify the current shipping module used with my website software. In doing so, they completely removed the First Class International Shipping option which 80% of my International customers prefer. There is no fix for this problem currently, and because the web site software will be updated in April as well, no one is working to fix the current flaw. So in the mean time, the only shipping option offered in USPS Priority International which costs more, but offers faster service and better tracking.
2. - Customers were not receiving their First Class International packages, paypal claims were filed, and even though I had proof the items had been sent, PayPal sided with the buyers and funds were taken away Crawler Innovations.
So removing the (Economy) First Class International Shipping option was something I had been considering for a while a now. It's twice the work to package and create First Class International shipping labels. It also takes twice as long for them to arrive. So for now, it's just not something I am going to wrestle with. I would encourage International customers to either make group buys, or persuade your local hobby store to carry Crawler Innovations products.

My International customers can vouch for me, I always put them first. If I can fit your order in a small flat rate box, I will. I then refund the over charge back to the customer for shipping. "thumbsup"

I do always a big order with friends together to keep the Shipping in a small percentage of the Total.

s im curious where to start with these new foams for a 6lb rig. im gonna run sedonas on 1in wheels and then khaos on 1.2in wheels. im thinking this inner and med outter for rear then this inner and soft outter for front? or do i need to have the outter as soft as possible since this is so firm?

Trying to figure out what you're talking about. I looked back several months and never saw an intro for new foams. Maybe it's in another thread. Can you post a link that gives some detail, or give us a few words here? Always interested in new stuff.

0.7"-1" wheels = Narrow Inner
1.125"-1.3" wheels = Wide Inner
Inners are wheel width dependent. The reasoning behind step cutting/ beveling the inside bead surface of the foam.
My 5lb 9oz berg worked good with Khaos and closed cell inners with soft outers up front and medium outers out back with med-firm outer tuning rings. If the front is too soft try a soft-med tuning ring.
For Sedona's, soft outer up front, medium outer out back. Outer tuning rings where needed. My sedonas are clapped too.
There are some pictures and details about the khaos setup in my Khaos-Rover thread.

But so many people have been calling, emailing, and texting that I put the new foams up in the store last week and didn't make an announcement. I was going to make a new thread since they are completely new. They are a much better product than the original design that started this thread 2.5 years ago. The new foams are the results of 8 months of R&D. Crawler Innovations is the first to bring this to the rc rock crawling and scale crawler market. It will change the way you crawl.
