I wanna be Dave
So as some of you know, i got my Chump V2 at the beginning of 2011,
but with a broken wrist and a cast past my elbow. i had a hella hard time
putting it together......
over a short time i finally got it put together..........
and didnt get to run much last year due to a cast..........i did try though....
I think there was very few of these made in alum.
this thing works.............
besides the chassis, i made a few changes.........
started here.......chump chassis V1
the V2..............eye candy......
a roller........
electroinc's in.........
since the above picture, i went to 2 FXR's with a Novak Dig switch.....
works awsome, can now adjust throttle curves for F/R motors
and different drag brake settings........ not as good as twin stick but way better than 1 FXR and a punk dig, i went through 4 punk digs and had a 5th new spare...before i changed over
could'nt bring my self to use a punk dig again.................
here is how it sits now.......
changed to axial knuckles facing forward, dropped the servo down inbetween the tube and motor....
shaved the case where the motor mounts....
a skid that goes flush to the outside of the chassis.......
could not or would not have done these without the help of 8-454 (Everett) big thank you.......!!!
body not really mounted yet.........
Dropped a few Oz's, it did weigh in about 6lbs 2oz...
now down to 5lbs 14oz..
yea i know not that much of a loss........... baby steps....:lmao:
A big Thank you to Anthony, MannOmann, 8-454, JPH racing....."thumbsup"
thanx for lookin..............
